As a Dispatch Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will monitor communications and security-related systems, coordinate responses to incidents, and provide clear, professional communication to field personnel and stakeholders. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $30.33 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and coordinate communications from transit locations, field personnel, and emergency responders; receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing timely notifications to appropriate personnel and public agencies. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, radio communications, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures. Monitor available alarm, camera, and communication systems to identify potential concerns and coordinate response resources as directed. Minimum Requirements: Have at least two years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
