Sterile Processing Tech
We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to join our team. The position entails working in a sterile processing environment with a focus on patient safety. Candidates should have experience in an acute hospital operating room setting. Proficiency in handling biological and chemical indicators is essential. Understanding of high-level disinfection and immediate-use steam sterilization procedures is required. Experience with cleaning and maintaining surgical equipment such as crash carts and IV pumps is necessary. Candidates must be knowledgeable about sterilization wrapping techniques and proper selection of wrapping materials. This role encompasses the assembly of surgical sets and trays. Potential candidates should possess skills in steam sterilization testing and monitoring. The selected individual will work day shifts that require attention to detail and commitment to quality. Professional integrity and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.
