Registered Nurse - Acute Rehab

Schedule

This position offers 3 × 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours. Shifts are scheduled for nights, and call and weekend requirements are rotating.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with acute rehab experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from conditions such as CVA, debility, and orthopedic surgeries. This role involves working with advanced medical equipment and performing key nursing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care in an acute rehabilitation setting.
• Administering medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and overall health status.
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to create and implement patient care plans.
• Assisting with procedures including trach care, chest tube management, draining, and the use of wound vacs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Prior experience in acute rehabilitation settings is required.
• Flu and COVID vaccinations are mandatory, with acceptance for medical or religious declinations.
