Data Architect-Remote

Job Description:


Our Client (an established Canadian Pension Fund) is looking for a strong Data Architect to support them in the implementation of the FundApps system for 13 D/F/G, SEC 105 and ESMA reporting primarily.


Responsibilities:


At the initial stage, the objectives are to assess existing data infrastructure and core processes, define best ways to aggregate all the required data, clean, normalize and store it, making it available to support the implementation of the FundsApps for 13 D/F/G, SEC 105 and ESMA reporting primarily.


- Work with business, data and IT stakeholders to define the target data architecture model to support the implementation of FundsApps


- Document target data architecture landscape


- Define how suggested architecture can fit within existing pension fund's set up/context and integrate with upstream and downstream applications


Skills Must have:


Must Have : 8+ Years of experience as a Data Architect working on FundApps AxiomSL and/or other regulatory reporting applications / projects


- Has experience authoring architecture and solutions on the back of regulatory requirements, ideally in the pension funds space


- Has experience in the implementation of a rules engine that allow client to keep up-to-date with the latest regulation, on applications like FundApps (a plus) and/or AxiomSL and/or other similar applications


- Experienced in regulatory impact assessment on data : in particular for 13 D/F/G, SEC 105 and ESMA reporting


- Has experience building applications that cater for data management, cleansing, dissemination and normalization in order to provide the most comprehensive and accurate data set


- Can demonstrate high level of communications and presentation, ability to work with technical and business stakeholders, deliver concepts clearly


Nice to have:


- Has experience working with modern data storage, management and ETL tools


- Has experience building cloud-native applications, using cloud-based managed services, especially in the data space
