We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused part time Barista to join our Homegrounds caf. In this role, you will create a welcoming experience for every guest by preparing quality beverages, providing exceptional service, and maintaining a clean and inviting caf environment. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and take pride in delivering great customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you.

Schedule: Both weekend days and possible weekday hours

Pay: $15 per hour

What You'll Do

As a Barista, you will:

• Open, operate, and close the caf, including preparing the space for customers, restocking supplies, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the day.
• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare coffee beverages and specialty drinks according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Keep cookie displays, coffee stations, and caf work areas stocked, organized, and guest-ready.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Operate the cash register accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Remain positive, professional, and efficient during busy periods.
• Communicate opportunities for improvement regarding safety, productivity, and customer experience.
• Support additional caf and team responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment

• Primarily indoor work environment.
• Exposure to varying temperatures and occasional noise associated with caf operations.
• Fast-paced environment with periods of high customer volume.
