Maintenance TechnicianWe are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Cedar Hill, TX plant. As a Maintenance Technician with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications.You will work become part of a community that prioritizes not only our customers but also values our dedicated and loyal employees.Why apply?Competitive payMedical and prescription drug coverageDental and vision coverageHealth savings and flexible spending account401(k) with company matchLife insurance and disability coveragePaid vacationPaid holidaysGrowth & Development opportunitiesEmployee DiscountsMental Health through our Employee Assistance ProgramWellness benefits including low-cost gym membershipsAbout the Role:Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and plumbing problems.Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, switches, and valves.Fabricate parts or components as needed.Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.Collaborate with other team members to complete projects and ensure efficient operations.Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner.Position does require working on tall structures using a manlift, climbing ladders and the use of safety harnesses.About You:We Require:Business/technical degree preferred or equivalent work experience. One plus years' experience in a manufacturing plant.Working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure.Technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining and electronics.Ability to provide clear and concise verbal instructions along with the ability to listen and ask questions to understand points made by others.General computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and database systems.Ability to read and apply information from plans, blueprints, work instructions and equipment manuals. Diagnostic problem solving techniques.
