Project-This is to support the engineering team which consist of 16 reporters under the HM (4 teams), 40 developers currently. This role has been released to improve the pipeline, build a team to support the weekly deployment, responsible for documentation , post check on the code ,tested & vetted before release. The whole team works on rotation basis every Tuesday from 9PM-1AM CST. The person should be open to ad hoc work during the week,, back up with contingency plans ,help with ideas to automate testing ,flexibility is required .He should be able to communicate the next day to the developers about the code as to why did the code failed .He can bee successful only if he come up to speed, show & take ownership of the weekly cycles& ensure all the rituals are followed correctly


JOB DESCRIPTION:
SailPoint Platform Engineers
Responsibilities:
Plan, Schedule software releases and provide hands-on support during production releases, coordinating with development, QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments.
Create and maintain detailed release logs and post-release reports, capturing deployment success, issues encountered and corrective actions taken.
Participate in release planning meetings to understand upcoming changes and prepare for release support requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues escalating to engineering or DevOps team as needed
Monitor and verify the success of deployment ,performing sanity checks and running tests to validate release stability.
Design, develop and implement automated test scripts for SailPoint IdentityIQ to ensure functionality,security and performance.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize and refine the release support and test automation.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information systems or a related field.
3+ years' experience in release management ,production support, or Devops in a software environment
2+ years' experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools (e.g.,Jenkins,GitLab) and version control (e.g, Git), cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS,Azure or GCP),application monitoring/logging tools (e.g. NewRelic,Splunk) , Incident management tools (e.g., Jira ,ServiceNow.)
3+ years of experience in Cypress or a similar UI test automation framework(Selenium, Mocha).
3+ years of experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or other IAM solutions (e.g., Okta,Ping Identity) specifically in testing and/or automation .Understanding of Identity and access management concepts including provisioning ,lifecycle management and access governance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.


Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
2+ years of experience in Python and AWS Lambda.
3+ Years experience with Cyber Security Domain specifically IAM.
ITIL or similar Certification.
AWS Certification.
