Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite, providing therapy services directly in the homes of our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities and limitations, forming individualized treatment plans that align with their specific orthopedic needs.
• Deliver hands-on physical therapy sessions focusing on improving functional mobility, strength, and pain management through techniques tailored to each patient.
• Regularly assess patient progress, modifying treatment approaches and goals to ensure alignment with recovery milestones.
• Educate patients and their families about wellness strategies, effective injury prevention practices, and personalized home exercise programs, fostering independence and confidence in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with referring medical professionals, physical therapist assistants, and other specialists to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient interactions and progress within our electronic medical record (EMR) system, adhering to legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, tailoring your therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of each individual. Understanding the unique challenges of delivering care in a home environment will empower you to enrich the therapeutic experience for each patient.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active California Physical Therapist License is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Demonstrated clinical reasoning skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• A compassionate and dedicated approach to patient care that emphasizes empathy and encouragement in therapeutic settings.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, preferably with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Prior experience providing therapy in a home care setting is highly regarded but not required.
• Strong understanding of the latest rehabilitation techniques and an eagerness to engage with ongoing professional development opportunities.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and commitment, Senior Flex Therapy Center offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 annually.
