PRN/Flex Security Officer (Glenaire)

Security Officers Security Officers are to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. We are looking for a highly competent security officer to join our team to monitor and protect the premises. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard, as well as training in self‑defense and first aid. He or she will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, and prevention of theft or vandalism. Position Details HIRING ONLY PRN Evenings, Overnights, Weekends (On-Call/As Needed) Responsibilities Perform security patrols on foot or in a vehicle Maintain site security and watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards Permit authorized persons to enter the property Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities Provide assistance to residents, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner Respond to emergencies Ensure the safety of all residents Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid NC driver’s license Must be at least 21 years old Desire to serve senior adults Positive outlook Ability to take initiative and be detail‑oriented Working independently and on a team Flexible and able to handle a fast pace Great communication and documentation skills Our Mission Glenaire is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) with a mission "to honor God by enriching the lives and touching the hearts of those we serve."
