About this job: Responsible for safe transport of students to and from athletic events or activities using assigned school's small activity bus/shuttle van. Position is on an ad-hoc or as-need basis. Note: This is not a bus driver role that transports students daily to and from school.

What You'll Do:

• Transports students to athletic and activity events (e.g. games, tournaments, etc.), picking up and dropping off in a timely manner.
• Determines route for specified activity.
• Assists passengers with boarding and exiting shuttle, as needed.
• Ensures the comfort and safety of passengers while adhering to all traffic laws and district policies related to the transport of students.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle and reports any vehicle related issues.
• Upholds student behavior using proper procedures for student management issues; enforces rules to ensure student safety.
• Completes all related DPS training and maintains all licensure requirements, including a clean driving record.

What You'll Need:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Multi-Functional School Activity Bus Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Must have a valid Colorado driver's license, an acceptable driving record for the past three years, and meet the District's insurability requirement.
• Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
• Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
• Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position.
