Senior Clinical Research Associate - Cardiovascular (Bilingual-English/Spanish) (Remote)

Merck seeks a Senior Clinical Research Associate for cardiovascular studies with bilingual English/Spanish fluency. Based remotely with frequent travel (65-75%), the role manages clinical trial sites, ensures regulatory compliance, and develops site relationships throughout study phases.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned clinical trial sites and ensure ICH-GCP and regulatory compliance throughout study phases
• Conduct on-site and remote monitoring activities to verify data accuracy, completeness, and subject safety
• Develop and maintain strong site relationships; identify and onboard new potential research sites
• Perform site visits including validation, initiation, monitoring, and closeout; document findings comprehensively
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve site performance issues and escalate as needed

Requirements

• Fluent Spanish and English, verbal and written communication
• 5+ years clinical research experience with demonstrated site management skills
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and clinical trial phases
• Proven ability to independently manage site performance and patient recruitment
• Advanced monitoring skills with professional judgment and root cause analysis capability
• Proficiency with MS Office and clinical IT applications across devices
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 65-75% domestically and internationally
