Occupational Therapist

Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (hourly pay) Job Overview: This is a great opportunity to work with the amazing Everstone team in a capacity that serves K-8th grade students. The candidates best suited for this role loves children, demonstrates flexibility and holds a growth mindset. The caseload will include children ranging from kindergarten through middle school with various diagnoses including sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dysgraphia, ADHD, and challenges with executive functioning. Summary of Service Terms Role: Independent Contractor: Occupational Therapist @ Everstone Partner Programs Locations: Wicker Park, Chicago & Oak Park, IL Compensation: Ranging from $55-$75 for direct client services, paid semi-monthly (based on years of experience and credentials) The hourly rate includes all scheduling, preparation, implementation, and documentation required for direct client services. Caseload Target: Contractors should plan to provide a range of 15-35 hours per week to meet the needs of the students on their roster. Actual hours vary based on student needs and scheduling and your desire for hours. Hours per week also fluctuate based on the school calendar. Availability: While you have complete autonomy in setting your own schedule, students are generally available Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs and goals Provide direct occupational therapy services, which may include areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and daily living skills. Create and document individualized goals and lesson plans Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed Maintain accurate records, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in compliance with legal and professional standards. Manage student scheduling in the client portal, TheraNest Document daily sessions clearly and promptly Share student progress and goal updates with parents and/or the school, highlighting successes to maintain regular, constructive communication. Support the program by conducting screeners and identifying potential opportunities for new client engagement. Attend one monthly Everstone Partner Program meeting (30 minutes) and one domain-specific meeting (30 minutes) paid at your hourly rate Expertise in Occupational Therapy Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to design and adapt individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Cultural competence and respect for diverse student backgrounds Data-driven decision-making and progress monitoring Empathy, patience, and a student-centered approach Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment Support and Resources: We are committed to supporting our clinicians and ensuring you have the tools, community, and guidance needed to succeed.
