Registered Nurse - RN - Local Traveler

Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The RN collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $32.00 – $48.00 per hour Premium pay: $15 per hour for all hours worked Weekend shift differential: $1.25 per hour Evening/night shift differential (6:00PM – 6:00AM): $1.25 per hour Scheduling Minimum of 30 hours per month One weekend shift per month Travel required to support multiple locations within a 75‑mile radius of permanent address Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise and apply age‑specific and population‑specific standards. Care for residents in all phases of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Coordinate care, conduct resident assessments, provide resident education, and perform various nursing interventions. Assume charge‑nurse responsibilities when assigned and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of practice. Provide adequate assistance and support to delegates, ensuring safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of concerns. Qualifications Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred), such as CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs. Possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state. Hold and maintain required department‑specific competencies and certifications. Minimum of 3 months experience in Long‑Term Care (6 months preferred).
