Finance Support Associate 7 Classification: Non-Exempt Direct Supervision: Vice President of Finance and Human Resources Functional Supervision: TCAT President Office Location: 100 White Bridge Pike, Nashville, TN 37209 Hours: Monday – Wednesday 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM; Thursday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM Essential Job Functions / Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the Jaggaer administrator and manage all purchasing, including submitting purchase orders, reviewing or returning requisitions, and verifying bid and/or contract documentation. Maintain up-to-date accounting codes, approval workflows and purchasing history files; diagnose and troubleshoot the Jaggaer system and respond to Banner and Jaggaer queries. Manage and process all travel authorizations and claims for TCAT Nashville. Prepare and conduct training workshops for college personnel on purchasing policies and procedures as well as travel authorizations and claims. Analyze procurement documents for accessibility compliance requirements related to digital content purchases; coordinate vendor compliance documentation (VPAT, Conformance and Remediation Form, WCAG Checklist, etc.). Review vendor-created content against accessibility acceptance criteria and provide actionable remediation guidance. Submit contracts through Contracts Plus. Work closely with Tennessee Board of Regents personnel on processing contracts, bids, purchases, travel, and related items. Assist with equipment management. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of purchasing and/or contracts experience, OR a high school/GED equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of purchasing and/or contracts experience, OR a comparable combination of education and experience. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Banner and Jaggaer electronic purchasing systems. Prior experience working in higher education. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Access. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with high attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills on the phone, in writing, and in person. Ability to learn and follow Tennessee College of Applied Technology Nashville’s policies and procedures. Ability to learn department-specific software and databases, as well as accurately perform data entry and retrieval. Ability to train and mentor others.
