Position Overview The Marketing & Growth Intern is an unpaid position that supports Women Empower's marketing initiatives, brand visibility, audience development, and community engagement. This role focuses on expanding the organization's digital presence, strengthening communications, and driving awareness and participation in Women Empower programs, events, and initiatives. This role is ideal for someone seeking hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, brand development, email marketing, and audience growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and grow Women Empower's LinkedIn presence through strategic content, engagement, and audience development. Support social media initiatives across relevant platforms to increase brand awareness, reach, and engagement. Assist with developing and implementing marketing campaigns that promote Women Empower's mission, programs, events, and initiatives. Support email marketing initiatives, including growing the organization's email subscriber list and developing targeted email campaigns. Assist with the creation and distribution of monthly newsletters featuring organizational updates, upcoming events, member highlights, and community news. Support event marketing and promotional initiatives to increase awareness, drive registrations, and help generate ticket sales for community events. Create, coordinate, and schedule engaging content that reflects Women Empower's brand, values, and messaging. Research marketing trends, audience insights, and growth opportunities to strengthen digital engagement and expand brand visibility. Track and report on marketing performance, including social media growth, email engagement, campaign results, and event registrations. Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies that support organizational growth and community engagement. Requirements & Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, business, or a related field. Strong interest in digital marketing, social media strategy, brand development, email marketing, and audience growth. Excellent written communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to communicate a consistent brand voice. Creativity and an interest in developing engaging content and marketing initiatives. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and Instagram, and an interest in developing digital marketing skills. Willingness to learn email marketing, newsletter development, campaign tracking, and audience analytics. Ability to work independently, take initiative, accept feedback, and collaborate with leadership. Proficiency with common digital tools and a willingness to learn the organization's marketing and communication platforms.
