Neuro/PCU RN Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with every other weekend required. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Neuro/PCU RN to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetric environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a patient ratio of 1:4-5.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions.
• Perform telemetry monitoring, medication administration, and document care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient and family education regarding health maintenance and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of RN experience in a Neuro or PCU setting required.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
• Telemetry competency required.
