We are an ISO registered company specializing in meeting the needs of our customers with cost effective and high-quality tooling - including Custom Automated Machinery, Machine Fixtures, and Gages. We provide tooling and specialty machinery solutions for Tier 1 suppliers and other industries. SM&T also provides product development resources for inventors and small businesses. Engineering, product design, prototyping, and production machining are just some of the services we provide. 

Position Description:

• Full-time position, Day shift. Optional Monday-Thursday 4-day work week. 
• Responsible for CAD/design tasks, documentation, and information management.
• Works with Manufacturing, Assembly, and Maintenance Teams with hands-on tasks.
• Training and guidance will be supplied as needed.

Applicant needs skills in the following areas:

• High mechanical aptitude.
• Problem-solving skills, self-motivated, good verbal & written communication skills.
• Familiar with common manufacturing & assembly methods, tools, and practices.
• CAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation. Solidworks experience preferred. On-the-job Solidworks training will be supplied as needed.
• Microsoft Office software products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
