Associate Director, Government Reporting

AstraZeneca

Associate Director leading strategic oversight of U.S. government pricing calculations, submissions, and compliance across AstraZeneca and Alexion's biopharmaceutical portfolios. The role bridges market access operations and senior leadership, ensuring accurate pricing across federal programs while supporting commercial strategy and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead government pricing calculations, analyses, and submissions across 200+ NDCs for accuracy and compliance
  • Advise senior leadership on commercial pricing and contracting impacts to federal programs and rebate structures
  • Develop and deliver government pricing training programs for staff and management across organization
  • Partner with contract and market access teams to translate legislative changes into operational implementation plans
  • Maintain controls, documentation, and governance for audit and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, science, economics, or finance
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare business experience
  • 5+ years pricing and government reporting experience
  • Financial modeling and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and lead teams
  • Market access and healthcare delivery knowledge
  • Strong organizational and time management capabilities
