Description: Backfill contract position for an RN in Med Surg. The position is for 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Weekends will rotate, with 4 shifts required per month. The unit has 28 beds and a staff of 32 FTEs. Patient ratios range from 5:1 to 6:1. The unit is equipped with video EEG, Hoyer lifts, bladder scanners, vital sign machines, and telemetry. Electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates with 3 years or more nursing experience and experience in epilepsy care will be prioritized. The ideal candidate should have an open attitude towards feedback and possess an owner mentality. Dress code includes navy blue scrubs with the facility logo.
