Overview Position: Physical Therapy Technician Location: Shelbyville, KY Type of Employment: Part Time Schedule: Weekdays (Varies) Compensation: Starting at $9.00/hour (pending experience) Are you passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey? Do you enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting? Come join our team as a Physical Therapy Technician! In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations. Why Join Us: Comprehensive health care plans and company matching 401K for full-time employees Responsibilities Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.) Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences CPR certification First aid certification Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center Additional Data Equal Opportunity Employer/including Disabled/Veterans
