Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and strong communication. In this role, you will assist patients, visitors, and staff with care and professionalism while delivering service grounded in teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule Wednesday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Saturday 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and de-escalation, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy concerns according to Allied Universal protocols. Support staff and guests during medical emergencies, evacuations, and/or other urgent events by following post orders and communicating clearly with supervisors, first responders, and location contacts. Minimum Requirements Hospital setting requires compliance with vaccination requirements. This position may require working in or around a hospital morgue. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. This position may require restraining individuals. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
