Cocktail Server

Our busy rooftop bar and lounge is seeking a dynamic cocktail server with a cheerful guest‑service attitude to set the tone for our premier cocktail bar. We expect this role to ensure that guests are greeted promptly, served in a timely manner, and be able to maintain a clean and inviting space. Our ideal candidate maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor and works efficiently to serve multiple guests at a time. Providing exceptional customer service with a teamwork philosophy is a must! Responsibilities Restock and clean as instructed, including side work for opening and closing of the restaurant Attend all pre‑shift and departmental meetings to improve communications and develop an understanding of products, services, and facilities Collect correct payment from guests and ensure that the guest check and method of payment are accurate to safeguard both the client and the business from mistakes in transactions Greet customers, take food and beverage orders from diners, serve orders promptly, and accommodate any special needs or requests Maintain complete knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials to answer client queries and provide recommendations Qualifications Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) We prefer some experience working in the food service industry This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills Experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, ensuring efficient service and guest satisfaction Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple orders and guest interactions simultaneously Must have evening and weekend availability Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately, safeguarding against transaction errors Compensation $5.50 - $35 hourly #J-18808-Ljbffr Moxy Cincinnati Downtown
