We’re looking for our next Insurance Sales Representative — someone who is hungry to grow, willing to pick up the phone, comfortable being held accountable to goals, and motivated by the opportunity to earn more as they produce more.

Insurance experience is valuable, but it isn’t everything. We’re equally interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, competitiveness, and ability to learn.

If you’re new to insurance but have the drive to succeed, we’ll help you learn the business.

What You’ll Do

This is a true sales position.

You’ll spend your day creating opportunities, talking with prospective customers, understanding their needs, presenting solutions, following up, and asking for the business.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Proactively contacting prospective customers through outbound calls, leads, referrals, networking, and other prospecting activities.
• Quoting and presenting insurance solutions based on each customer’s individual needs.
• Following up consistently with prospects and building a strong sales pipeline.
• Asking thoughtful questions, identifying potential coverage gaps, and helping customers understand their options.
• Cross-selling additional products when they provide meaningful value to the customer.
• Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Maintaining accurate prospect and sales activity within our CRM.
• Working toward clearly defined activity and production goals.
• Continually improving your insurance knowledge, communication skills, and sales ability.

Previous sales experience is preferred, particularly in insurance, financial services, automotive sales, real estate, telecommunications, hospitality, or another performance-driven environment.

A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals is a strong plus.

Licensing

A North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license is required for the position.

Already licensed? Great.

Relevant insurance experience and existing licenses may qualify you for a higher starting salary.

Not licensed yet? Don’t let that stop you from applying.

For the right candidate, we’re willing to consider applicants who can successfully obtain the required licensing within an established timeframe. We’ll help you understand what is required to get there.

Additional insurance licenses may create opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected First-Year Compensation: $45,000–$60,000+

We believe strong performance should be rewarded, and your earning potential grows directly with your results.

• Starting base salary of $30,000 for candidates new to the industry.
• Higher starting salary may be available based on relevant sales experience and existing insurance licenses.
• Uncapped commission — the more you produce, the more you earn.
• A successful first-year producer should expect to earn $45,000+ .

This is a performance-driven position . You’ll have clearly defined expectations, regular coaching, and the tools and support needed to succeed.
