PeaceHealth is growing its ambulatory X-ray teams across multiple family medicine clinics in Vancouver, Washington. We're looking for Radiologic Technologists who prefer a clinic-based environment over hospital work and enjoy consistency, autonomy, and patient-centered care.
What You'll Do
In this outpatient clinic role, you'll:
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure imaging equipment is ready
- Review patient history, prior images, and orders before each exam
- Perform standard X-ray exams using accurate positioning and safety practices
- Communicate clearly and calmly with patients during exams
- Adjust exams based on patient needs or unexpected findings
- Follow radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles
- Confirm pregnancy status when appropriate
- Perform occasional portable or surgical X-rays with proper precautions
- Keep your workflow organized and complete documentation in a timely way
- Support students or new caregivers as needed
- Assist with general patient care tasks within your scope and training

What You Bring
Education & Credentials
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- BLS required at hire
Experience & Skills
- One year of experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
- Comfort working independently in a clinic setting
- Understanding of age-specific patient needs
- Venipuncture skills
- PACS/RIS experience (ImageCast/CareCast preferred)
- Clear communication and strong organization skills
