Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds There are 10 OR Suites and 1 Cysto suite. Number of Staff There are 8 F/T Surgical Techs and 2 PRN Techs. There are 10 OR Nurses and 2 PRN OR Nurses.

Type of staff:

• Day Shift 1 Charge, 7-8 techs, 8 RNs, 3 CNA's (we currently staff until 5pm and after 5pm with on-call staff in either 14 hr. or 16hr. shifts)
• Night Shift on-call staff only after 7pm

Patient Ratios 1:1 (1 ST:1 RN in general cases, but 2 ST: 2RN in CV cases)

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

CV surgical tech (ability to scrub CV surgery procedures)

The ability to scrub General procedures and other cases

Preferred or nice to have:

candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Ortho scrub skills

Robotic surgery scrub skills

List typical procedures performed on unit(s): CABG's, Mitral Valve replacements, Fem Bypass, Thrombectomy Ortho, Neuro/Spine, General (Robotics), GYN (Robotics), Urology, ENT, and Podiatry

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

BLS

Floating Area(s): Possibly the ASC that is across the street from the hospital (extremely rare)

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - blue and provided by the facility due to the daily change requirements

Weekends and On call(if any)

May help to provide On-call coverage 1-2 nights per week and 1 weekend a month. We do have a weekend team on-site for 12hrs/day, but coverage may be needed for additional emergency cases.
