Assistant Store Manager $13.00 - $16.50 per hour + Unlimited Commission + Store Performance Bonus We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team! As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional customer service, and help drive profitability. You'll gain hands‑on leadership experience while working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more. Why You’ll Love Working Here Competitive hourly pay + commission up to 8% Additional bonus opportunities based on store performance Great hours - most stores open 9AM-6PM; many closed Sundays Earned Wage Access available after day 2 Employee discounts starting day one Vacation & Sick/Personal time based on tenure and applicable state/local requirements 401(k) auto-enrollment after 6 months (age requirements apply) Tuition Reimbursement opportunities for eligible employees What You’ll Do Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories What We’re Looking For 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided) Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply Commission Information Associates can earn 2-8% commission based on individual performance.
