Civil Engineering Analyst - Transportation Planning & Traffic Operations

Overview Kimley-Horn of DC is looking for Engineering graduates with 1+ years of experience to join our District of Columbia (DC) office in 2026! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities Perform traffic engineering and project management tasks to deliver a wide variety of transportation planning, transit, traffic engineering, safety, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS) projects for many, diverse clients As a critical member of the team, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions This is an exciting opportunity to work with a team of engineers and designers on a variety of projects You will flourish on both building meaningful internal and external professional relationships You will work closely and collaboratively with other industry leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors Qualifications An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) in one of the following majors: Civil and/or Environmental Engineering Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering Engineering Technology 1+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment Ability to work independently and as a team Salary Range: $91,000 to $94,500 #J-18808-Ljbffr UNAVAILABLE
