As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to help drive financial accuracy, operational insights, and process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Work on challenging, high-impact manufacturing programs Collaborate directly with operations and leadership teams Influence process improvements instead of just maintaining them Gain exposure to project accounting, cost accounting, and complex revenue recognition Join a growing organization that values initiative and continuous learning Excellent benefits and long-term career advancement opportunities What You'll Do Lead project accounting activities, including revenue and cost recognition Monitor and reconcile contract assets, liabilities, and customer backlog Manage inventory accounting and cost of sales reporting Support forecasting efforts through Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews Analyze customer contracts and apply ASC 606 accounting guidance Create and maintain project structures and charge codes within the ERP system Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations Develop and document accounting procedures to support compliance and internal controls Investigate discrepancies and recommend corrective actions Champion process improvements that increase efficiency and reporting accuracy What We're Looking For 5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment Strong ERP experience and proficiency with Excel Background in project accounting, inventory accounting, or revenue recognition Experience supporting operational teams with financial analysis and decision-making Excellent analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
