Janitor, Part Time Where: Lakewood, WA (Joint Base Lewis McChord) Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt Wage: $16.82/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and a robust wellness program. Work Schedule: Swing Shift, Day Shift, Monday - Friday Skookum Contract Services is seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor with a positive attitude. This individual will be responsible for general cleaning and janitorial tasks. Typical duties include but are not limited to: Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross contamination procedures. Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Halls and High Traffic area Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Entrances and Exits Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean entry doors according to schedule. Trash - Empty trash in office areas, lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker according to schedule. Supply Restocking - restock supplies according to schedule. Dusting - dusting in restrooms, shower/locker areas, according to schedule. Stairwell Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum, and wipe handrails according to schedule. Shower Cleaning - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures. Janitorial Supply Closet/Locker - keep clean and organized. Qualifications 1 to 3 years Lead experience, preferably in a janitorial work setting preferred. Must be able to communicate with others in a courteous and helpful way. Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Valid State Driver's license required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Skookum's insurance company. Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances as background checks will be conducted for this position.
