OB/GYN Opportunity | Scenic Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia | Midwife Support + Strong Community Need
A well-established, hospital-employed group in Southwest Virginia is seeking a full-time OB/GYN to join its dedicated team. Located in a charming town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, this opportunity offers the chance to practice meaningful medicine in a supportive, collaborative environmentwith excellent midwifery and pediatric support on site.
This community-based facility is one of only a few rural hospitals in the state still actively delivering babies, with a strong foundation in women's and maternity services.
Position Highlights:
- Established patient base with significant market demand
- Midwife support and OB call coverage in place
- Collaborative team of experienced OB/GYN colleagues
- 4 modern LDRP suites, Level 1 Nursery, and pediatric support
- Full EMR and practice management services provided
- 3D mammography available on site
- Local doula support provided through the Virginia Health Department
Compensation & Benefits:

This 100-bed facility has served the region for over 50 years and is recognized as a top-quality rural hospital in the state. With Joint Commission accreditation and a recent "A" grade from the Leapfrog Group, the hospital is a trusted healthcare provider for a service area of approximately 36,000 residents. On-site services include advanced imaging, lab, surgical, and maternity care, supported by over 350 staff and 80+ providers.
