Club Manager

Job Title Club Manager Reports to District Manager Status Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-Exempt Job Summary Responsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Recruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members. Member service oversight ensuring all team members deliver great customer service. High involvement in front desk tasks: greeting and welcoming members, conducting gym tours, handling member service issues/questions. Provide support for team members and club members. Create and maintain a positive image for the club. Coach and counsel performance to help achieve company standards. Ensure prompt opening/closing of gym. Ensure staff are aware and trained on current marketing promotions. Complete manager portion of onboarding in Paycom for new hires. Ensure the club is open and staffed at all business hours. Ensure self and team members implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Order supplies and track inventory. Communication: maintain timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings. Minimum Qualifications Honesty and good work ethic. At least 1 year of equivalent managerial experience. Strong customer service skills. Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. Basic computer proficiency. Physical Demands Stand and walk at least 75% of shift. Talk in person or on the phone at least 75% of shift. Lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
