This position will report to the Assistant Operations Manager.This position will be at-will, meaning either the employer or the employee may terminate the employment at any time, with or without cause or prior notice.Pay range: $23-$29/hrJob ResponsibilitiesCommunicate proper oral hygiene and preventative care to the patient and familyAssist in the development and training of dental assistantsHold all teammates accountable to meeting expectations in achieving our missionSupport in the supervision of all clinical teammates to include, but not limited to, training, directing work assignments, monitoring success and opportunities, supporting appraisal reviews and coaching conversations, addressing and resolving complaintsAssist in protective stabilization dental cases with compassionEnsure practice is clean and presentable to patients to include cleaning restrooms, patient lobby, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.Participate in other duties that support the mission of providing high-quality and compassionate dental, vision, and orthodontic services to underserved childrenJob QualificationsActive EDDA/EFDA certification that meets state requirementsRadiology education and training that meets state requirementsExtensive experience working in a dental officeProficient with e-Clinical Works a plusCurrent BLS CPR certificationExperience with administration and monitoring of nitrous oxideAbility to understand and accurately record patient vitalsExperience with protective stabilization cases (i.e. head holding, hand holding)In addition to the job description, you will be asked to perform other duties that support the business and our mission.This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand, bend, communicate verbally (both in person and by telephone), use hands repetitively to handle, feel or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.Work is performed in a standard clinical environment.
