Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and pre-authorize surgeries and specialized procedures.
• Manage insurance pre-certifications and confirm scheduling accuracy.
• Review pre-op instructions, labs, and medical history with patients.
• Coordinate scheduling logistics directly with hospitals and surgery centers.
• Handle scheduling updates and phone inquiries with outstanding customer service.

Position Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 6 months of dedicated surgery scheduling experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Exceptionally organized, strong ability to multitask, great phone etiquette, and familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Compliance: Strong commitment to patient confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and Solaris Health standards.
