Civil Engineer in Training

Wilson & Company’s Omaha, Nebraska office is seeking a Roadway Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates. Responsibilities Perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Open Roads Designer. Collaborate with experienced designers and project managers as well as other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects. Primarily work on projects in Nebraska with opportunities to support regional projects. Efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. Engineer‑in‑Training (E.I.T.) certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months. 0‑3 years of experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations. Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians. Experience in CADD design software. Annual salary range: $79,000—$135,000.
