YOUR IMPACT AS A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

• Perform system builds and administration of workstations connected to our sponsor’s network. System management responsibilities involve account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation & maintenance, and other system administration related functions.

• Work in partnership with a small team to configure and deploy systems that support our sponsor's goals.

• Support helpdesk O&M calls related to deployed systems

• Interact with users to troubleshoot technical challenges to mitigate program risks.

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.

• Establish administrator and service accounts, maintain system documentation, tune system performance, install system-wide software, and allocate mass storage space.

• Troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure system components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to system operations.

• Independently determine and develop approaches to solutions.

• Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

• Maintain the security baseline compliance via configuration, implementation, and remediation activities.

• Provide technical solutions to a wide range of unanticipated challenges.

• Work under very general direction.

• Apply regular security patches and software updates.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience, or Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience

● Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Networking / Systems Administration knowledge
● Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI FS
● Required Skills and Abilities: Team player, Implement and develop process improvements
● Preferred Skills: Analyzes user needs and performs research and functional analysis on a variety of projects. Develop and or implement process improvements. Demonstrate strong communication skills oral and written.
