UK King's Daughters, a 465-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is part of the University of Kentucky and the Markey Cancer Center, offering outstanding opportunities for board-eligible/certified Hematologists/Oncologists.

We are presenting a clinic opportunity in Portsmouth, Ohio where the physician has NO CALL! This physician would have an independent office with an excellent support staff. The incoming physician will earn generous salary guarantees, productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential $650k+). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule and manageable call. The practices are supported by a team of experienced advanced providers.

UK King's Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our physicians enjoy vibrant practices. In 2025 we completed a large construction project on our main campus in Ashland, Kentucky. This provided us with a new main entrance, a brand-new ER and an all-new Imaging Department. Our Emergency Department sees more than 70,000 patients per year. We have nearly all medical specialties at the main facility, except pediatric subspecialties. The main hospital is less than 35 minutes from the Portsmouth, Ohio office so a very easy drive for patients if they need to go there.  Other program highlights: Our Oncology Center for Excellence also features a dedicated Breast Surgeon. Our medical staff includes skilled radiation oncologists, thoracic and general surgeons and interventional radiologists.

The Oncology Center of Excellence in Ashland, Kentucky also features a large infusion center, along with a dedicated lab and pharmacy. With 30+ years of ACOS accentuation, our full-service program features nurse navigators, research nurses, social workers and financial counselors. UK King's Daughters is powered by the EPIC electronic medical records system.
