Application Analyst IVLocation: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) Duration: 12-monthsPosition Summary: We are seeking a senior Physical Access Control System (PACS) consultant to provide technical leadership for the implementation, integration, and support of a next-generation enterprise access control platform. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the business and project teams, working closely with the selected vendor to ensure a scalable, secure, and supportable solution.The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with enterprise PACS platforms, preferably AMAG Symmetry, along with strong integration, architecture, and operational support expertise. The individual should be comfortable working across physical security, application architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise integrations.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience supporting, upgrading and implementing enterprise Physical Access Control Systems (PACS)Strong hands-on experience with AMAG Symmetry (highly preferred)Experience with PACS architecture, badge management, access provisioning, alarms, readers, controllers, and Field Control PanelsExperience working with PACS vendors, system integrators, and implementation teamsStrong Microsoft SQL Server experienceExperience with enterprise application integrations and APIsExperience supporting highly available, multi-site systemsStrong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with AMAG Connect and/or Guest.Experience with AWS, cloud-hosted, or hybrid architecturesExperience with Kafka, event streaming, messaging platforms, or real-time integration architecturesExperience integrating PACS with identity management, HR systems, PSIM, VMS, IDS, or ServiceNowExperience with CyberArk, SIEM platforms, Splunk, or enterprise monitoring toolsUtility, critical infrastructure, or NERC CIP-regulated industry experienceExperience supporting large-scale security modernization or PACS replacement initiativesKey Responsibilities:Serve as the PACS technical SME and advisor to project and support teamsReview architecture, design, integration, and implementation plans provided by the vendorSupport PACS upgrade activitiesDefine operational support, monitoring, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity requirementsGuide integrations with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and security systemsAssist with testing and production readinessProvide technical leadership throughout implementation and stabilization
