Salary: $64,000 - 104,000 per year Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; alternatively, four years of relevant work experience, or two years of relevant experience plus an associates degree in a related field.
• Eight years of experience in application development, systems testing, or a related area.
• Java development experience using Eclipse.
• Oracle database experience.
• Experience with Hibernate 3.0 or later, Spring Framework versions 3.x, 5.x, or 6.x, Jenkins, GitHub, and Agile Scrum.
• Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to learn quickly.

• Analyze, design, program, and implement complex applications, tasks, and projects.
• Develop logical, practical procedures for resolving business problems with computer resources.
• Research and define the scope and objectives of complex system development or modification.
• Provide technical direction and support for business systems software and procedures.
• Design, code, test, and debug complex application programs.
• Develop Java functionality and update the Oracle database for the EMS application.

We are hiring a Java Back-End Developer for our eCommerce division. The role is partially onsite, with work at the office three days per week and as needed, and standard hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Our CMRS team has three smaller Scrum teams of roughly seven people each. The team works on CMS-required enhancements, production issues, and new features; its workload is approximately 80% technical debt and production issues and 20% new work on existing applications.
