Bloom Therapy Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and collaborative Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing pediatric therapy team. We are looking for a therapist who enjoys working with children and families and is passionate about helping children build the skills they need to participate more fully in everyday life.

Our clinic provides a collaborative environment where PT, OT, and Speech Therapy work together to support the whole child. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children with a variety of developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and sensory needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized physical therapy evaluations and treatment to pediatric patients.
• Develop and implement functional, evidence-based treatment plans based on each child's individual needs and goals.
• Address gross motor development, strength, balance, coordination, mobility, gait, endurance, and functional movement.
• Work with children with developmental delays, neurological conditions, genetic conditions, orthopedic needs, and other diagnoses affecting physical function.
• Incorporate play-based and child-centered activities to promote engagement and participation.
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies at home.
• Collaborate with OT and Speech Therapy providers to support interdisciplinary goals and whole-child care.
• Complete evaluations, daily treatment notes, progress reports, reassessments, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in care planning and communicate effectively with families, physicians, and other professionals as appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards, ethical guidelines, clinic policies, and payer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana Physical Therapist (PT) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Pediatric experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team.
• A patient, flexible, and child-centered approach to therapy.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care.
