Packaging Assembler

Indrotec, a DBA of IG, Inc.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Assembler to join our production team. This is an entry-level position that supports manufacturing and packaging operations in a fast-paced production environment. The Packaging Assembler is responsible for operating packaging equipment, completing documentation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report malfunctions or abnormalities to leadership.
Monitor and adjust packaging processes to maximize quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Package materials and products by loading containers, filling containers, and operating related machinery.
Complete batch records and all required production documentation accurately and on time.
Work within an integrated computerized manufacturing environment.
Follow established operating procedures, processing standards, and work instructions.
Assist with process improvement initiatives and participate in team projects as assigned.
Support manufacturing operations including assembly, packaging, processing, and distribution activities.
Perform basic data collection and record-keeping related to production activities.

Qualifications

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Basic knowledge of production or manufacturing processes preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn computerized manufacturing systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Schedule

1 st shift: Monday through Thursday 6:00am- 3:00pm and Friday 6:00am - 10:00am
2 nd shift: Monday through Thursday 3:00pm - 12:00am and Friday 10:00am - 12:00pm

Benefits

Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.#IND345
