Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team at Onyx Care of Natchitoches. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional nutrition and meal services. Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to patients, including food preparation, tray setup, and delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area, adhering to infection control standards
- Assist with food ordering, inventory management, and storage
- Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement menu options for patients with special dietary needs
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and visitors
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the dietary team
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
