Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Shift: 12 Hours Nights

Hours per Shift: 12 hours

Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in ICU, ED, or transfer center required.

License: Current RN or LVN license required.

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.

Must-Have:
MUST have a minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience.
MUST have acute care experience.
MUST have critical care assessment skills and good clinical judgment.
MUST be able to follow algorithms and protocols.
MUST be professional with strong customer service skills.
MUST be able to learn quickly and multitask effectively.
MUST be proficient with various computer applications, including Cerner, TeleTracking, and Google applications.


Description:
Facilitate transfers of patients from various hospitals.
Perform patient assessments and gather vital and clinical information following the intake process.
Coordinate with accepting MDs and specialists to arrange for appropriate patient beds.
Refer patients to other facilities if needed.
Prioritize the needs of the patients during the transfer process.
Manage bedding and staffing requests as necessary.
Work with a leadership team for support.
Be available for scheduling any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
Maintain professional appearance while adhering to dress code policies.
Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing training.
Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
Required to document and chart patient information accurately using provided systems.
