Senior Project Manager – Water/Wastewater Engineer Location: Columbia, SC area Position Description The position requires a strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems. The role involves management of public and private projects, focusing on local municipal and quasi‑governmental clients. Candidates will coordinate and manage multiple large or complex projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget under broad supervisory guidance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or Master’s) and a registered Professional Engineer license are required. A minimum of 15 years of experience designing municipal water/wastewater projects is required. Proficiency in Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, Microsoft Office, and advanced project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project) is essential. Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater modeling software is preferred. Key Skills Ability to analyze, coordinate, and manage several large or complex projects simultaneously. Leadership and staff development, supporting and evaluating team members toward maximizing potential. Project completion on time and within budget, ensuring high‑level executive objectives. Advanced knowledge of project tracking software (Vision/Microsoft Project). Intermediate proficiency in Word/Excel. Strong organizational, time management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience in the southeastern United States (Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina).
