Southern Health Partners is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) to join our healthcare team at the Jefferson County Jail in Wisconsin.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role without leaving nursing behind. You’ll continue providing hands-on patient care while helping coordinate the day-to-day healthcare operations of the facility.

As the RN MTA, you’ll serve as a trusted clinical resource for the healthcare team, help ensure continuity of care, and work closely with providers, correctional staff, and SHP leadership. You’ll also participate in an on-call rotation, providing clinical guidance and support when needed.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll help keep patient care and healthcare operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing direct patient care, nursing assessments, and clinical interventions
  • Serving as the primary nursing leader and clinical resource for the facility
  • Coordinating daily healthcare activities and promoting continuity of care
  • Supporting and coordinating with the nursing team member working the alternate rotation
  • Collaborating with medical providers, correctional staff, and SHP leadership
  • Reviewing clinical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Monitoring compliance with company policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Participating in quality assurance and performance improvement activities
  • Providing clinical guidance and support through participation in the on-call rotation
  • Helping foster a professional, organized, and patient-focused healthcare environment
