Employee Benefits Producer Location: Roseland, NJ. Responsibilities Build a professional network, identify and qualify new leads that meet company standards. Establish, cultivate, and manage client relationships, and partner relations with carriers and internal resources. Conduct risk‑management surveys, determine insurance coverage needs, and develop stewardship reporting to advise clients on coverage options. Provide ongoing professional advice to improve clients’ insurance and risk‑management programs. Prepare documentation for new business and renewal proposals, and negotiate quotes for placement of coverage. Present and sell new business and renewal proposals, including educational materials for value‑add services, to prospective and existing client decision‑makers. Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims. Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures, including the Insurance Coverage Review form. Participate in training to stay current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, technology, and required continuing education. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Valid Producer license in good standing, obtained within 90 days of hire. College degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong technical knowledge of all lines of insurance coverage. Familiarity with agency management systems and other insurance‑sales applications. Pay range: $70,000 – $80,000 annually.
