Dental Assistant for Pediatric Dental Office
Must have Dental Assisting Experience!!

Our high-tech pediatric dental office is looking for a Full-Time Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone well-spoken and cheerful, a self-motivated team player who is excited to learn new things. They must have a very friendly demeanor, enjoy working with children, and be computer-savvy. The Dental Assistant works closely with the doctor to ensure that our patients and families receive the best possible care as we pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide an incredible dental experience.

Job Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and care for children and their families during their appointment
- Prepare and properly set up treatment rooms for hygiene procedures
- Prepare treatment area by sterilizing, positioning, and delivering instruments for dentist’s access
- Actively provide hand instruments and materials as needed to dentist during exams and procedures in order to help maintain patient comfort and efficiency.
- Capture digital x-rays for doctor to view
- Must be detail oriented and maintain patient comfort
- Ability to calm and reassure fearful patients
- Assist in sterilization duties
- Use downtime constructively; perform light housekeeping around office, restocking, inventory of supplies
- Always maintain the highest level of confidentiality to HIPAA standards
- Use and maintain hazard control protocols as established by OSHA and office standards.
- Must excel in forward thinking in order to anticipate the needs of the doctor as well as the patient
- Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies
- Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in team settings in order to maintain schedules

- Continuing education encouraged

- X-Ray License
- CPR Certified preferred
