Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits in our cardiac cath lab, providing dynamic pre and post-procedure care as well as PACU recovery. Our fast-paced expanding fields include the treatment of patients with vascular, electrical conduction, coronary diseases, and structural heart diagnosis. The registered nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care and procedural support in acute and non-acute situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiac cath lab and PACU.
• Support procedures related to vascular, electrical conduction, and coronary diseases.
• Deliver post-procedure recovery care to patients.
• Monitor telemetry and other vital signs during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License (New York License ONLY).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (AHA).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (AHA).
• Recent experience in CVICU/Cardiac Care or PACU is required.
• Cath lab experience is highly desired.

Schedule

This position offers a 40-hour work week with 4 ten-hour shifts, along with occasional weekend shifts as per unit needs.
