CNC Programmer Salary: $25–$30 per hour. Shift hours: 1st shift 6:30 am–3:00 pm; optional overtime until 5:00 pm and optional Saturdays 6:00–12:00. We are a growing manufacturing company seeking a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to safely and efficiently program, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and produce precision‑machined components on CNC lathes and related equipment in accordance with production schedules, engineering specifications, and quality standards. Key Duties & Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Select tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for optimal production efficiency. Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and programming issues to minimize downtime. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain part quality. Maintain production efficiency while ensuring quality and safety. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes and cycle times. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of CNC machining experience. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient in G-code, M-code, tooling offsets, and machine setup. Strong math skills for accurate measurements and basic machining calculations.
