About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Candidates must possess experience in IMCU, Progressive Care, or ICU-Stepdown. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The unit has 10 beds and is staffed with a charge nurse and three registered nurses on the night shift. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:3 and 1:4. Equipment used in the unit includes Bipap, Trach vents, and an Electronic Medical Record system. Candidates must be familiar with medications such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and 3% Saline. Procedures performed on the unit include chest tube insertion. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach and a positive attitude. Four weekend shifts are included in the schedule. Floating may occur to the IMCU/Stroke department. Dress code is blue scrubs.
