Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking Manufacturing Process Engineers to join our team in supporting a manufacturing documentation and process standardization initiative within a production facility. This role involves close collaboration with plant leadership, production, and quality personnel to document current operations, develop standardized procedures, and aid in the implementation across multiple production lines. This position demands a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and the capability to work independently while capturing and documenting current-state processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop work instructions and operational documentation.
• Document startup and shutdown procedures.
• Capture and document machine operating procedures.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and plant leadership to understand current operations.
• Support the implementation of standardized documentation practices.
• Help establish consistent documentation formats and procedures for future use.
• Support knowledge capture and transfer efforts.
• Work closely with plant personnel to improve consistency across manufacturing documentation.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement.
• Experience in creating SOPs, work instructions, and standardized operating procedures from scratch in a manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience working with production teams to document and standardize operations.
• Strong understanding of equipment operations, startup/shutdown procedures, and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in SOP development and process standardization.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Friesland, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
